This role reports to the Mount Prospect, IL site and is part of the Clinical Trials Division (CTD). CTD partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time – a concept that we internally embrace as “There is a Patient Waiting.” Our outstanding blend of services includes project management, packaging, distribution, transportation management and specialty logistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply optimization, bio-repository storage and much more. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
  • Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and procedures
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Ability to complete GMP documentation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn, understand and follow OSHA regulations
  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.
  • Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours.
  • Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to work in walk in refrigerators and freezers.
  • Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency.
  • Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.

  • Relevant formal academic / or vocational certificate highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleaning and organizing all areas of the facility in accordance with local SOPs.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials to perform duties.
  • Reports all building deficiencies to the supervisor.
  • Cleans all areas of the facility and grounds as indicated.
  • Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed.
  • Ensure all trash and cardboard boxes are collected and disposed of daily.
  • Oversees stock on all janitorial supplies, informing purchasing department when needing to replenish.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of utility room.
  • Completes additional housekeeping duties, as needed to support special facilities projects.
