This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting tasks for site HVAC&R equipment and factory support infrastructure. The technician will be responsible for maintaining systems such as chillers, boilers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, scrubbers, and incinerators. The position requires the ability to rebuild pumps and motors, perform air balancing, and conduct preventive maintenance on various control systems and treatment equipment. A key aspect of the role is applying predictive maintenance concepts like thermographic inspection and vibration analysis, as well as performing low- and medium-voltage electrical maintenance and pipefitting. The technician will also operate, maintain, and troubleshoot site facilities equipment and systems, conduct rounds and readings, and respond to trouble calls. Collaboration across HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, and piping disciplines is expected to support various maintenance and project activities. Maintaining operating procedures, applying Lean and 5S concepts, and participating in emergency facility activities are also part of the responsibilities. The role may require working non-standard shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
