About The Position

This is a part-time Facilities Helper position to support weekday needs in the Facilities department at the Missouri City campus. The role involves assisting with service setups, event setups and breakdowns, and light custodial duties. The starting pay is $12.00/hour.

Requirements

• Must have a good work ethic and a clean criminal record.
• Background checks are mandatory.
• Clean and appropriate dress while on campus is mandatory.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.

Nice To Haves

• Some mechanical skills to do light preventative maintenance on rooftop AC units such as filter and belt changes, cleaning/washing down AC coils.

Responsibilities

• Providing event set up & tear down support for weekday events and possible weekends for special events.
• Light custodial duties; includes keeping the grounds free of any trash and debris on a daily basis, checking/emptying all exterior trash receptacles.
• Lift up to 50 pounds – moving tables and chairs regularly
• Cleaning windows not accessible by custodial staff.
• Use of a scissor lift on occasion to change light bulbs.
• Will need some mechanical skills to do light preventative maintenance on rooftop AC units such as filter and belt changes, cleaning/washing down AC coils.
