About The Position

As a Facilities Grounds Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day operations for the resort's facilities, common areas, and laundry functions. This is a hands-on position focused on maintaining exceptional cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Current experience as a supervisor, and 2 or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in housekeeping, laundry operations, or common area maintenance within a hospitality environment.
• Strong working knowledge of laundry operations, including chemical usage, linen handling procedures, sorting processes, and operational best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to lead team meetings, provide direction, and support operational excellence, despite having no direct reports.
• Availability of working weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily laundry and common area operations to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Ensures all laundry, public areas, corridors, break rooms, front desk areas, and other common spaces are properly maintained.
• Conducts regular inspections of laundry processes and common areas to ensure quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Serves as a hands-on leader, assisting with daily operational tasks as needed to support business demands.
• Utilizes knowledge of laundry operations, chemicals, cleaning products, equipment, and best practices to ensure safe and effective procedures are followed.
• Leads daily huddles and team meetings, providing direction, communicating priorities, and supporting department objectives.
• Addresses operational challenges and resolve issues independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains accurate records related to inventory, inspections, and departmental operations.
• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental and resort operations.
