The Facilities & Fleet Technician helps maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient shop and work environment. This hands-on role supports equipment maintenance, fleet movement, facility upkeep, inventory, and general operational needs. Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Understanding of basic shop safety practices (PPE use, lockout/tagout awareness, safe lifting technique, hazard identification)
Ability to meet DOT requirements to operate company vehicles, including obtaining and maintaining DOT medical certification
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (MVR check required)
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and move throughout the shop and yard for extended periods
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or fleet environment preferred

Responsibilities

Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment at all times
Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and work areas
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on small tools and equipment
Inspect equipment and identify items needing repair or replacement
Safely shuttle box trucks and company vehicles as needed
Organize and prepare tools, equipment, and supplies for daily operations
Stock refrigerators, break areas, and company supplies
Receive, organize, and store equipment and materials
Run occasional errands for parts, supplies, and equipment
Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep
Perform other duties as assigned
