About The Position

The Facilities & Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of AMH’s facilities and fleet within their assigned region (currently “east” and “west”). This includes supervising facility operations personnel, coordinating daily maintenance activities, and overseeing in house security guards to maintain a safe and compliant environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and skilled in communication and leadership. The goal is to maintain problem free, safe environments where employees and patients can operate under the best possible conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly checks of facilities and grounds in the assigned region.
  • Identify repairs, hazards, or improvements needed across facilities.
  • Manage equipment and supply upkeep to meet all health and safety standards.
  • Work with Practice Supervisors to ensure clean, functional medical practice environments.
  • Supervise facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.) and external contractors.
  • Oversee operational activities such as parking allocation, waste disposal, and storage use at the direction of the COO.
  • Inspect and verify completion of preventative maintenance performed by third party vendors.
  • Maintain productive relationships with vendors and ensure they meet AMH performance standards.
  • Oversee supervision of Facilities & Fleet – West Coordinator to ensure alignment with overall organizational standards.
  • Supervise in house security guards assigned to AMH facilities.
  • Coordinate security schedules, coverage needs, and daily duties.
  • Ensure guards follow AMH safety protocols, emergency procedures, and incident reporting standards.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for on site security concerns or incidents.
  • Collaborate with the COO to assess and improve physical security measures.
  • Ensure weekly inspections of company vehicles are conducted.
  • Oversee routine and emergency vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Assist with annual training compliance for all AMH team members who operate company vehicles (e.g., licensure, required training).
  • Support administrative tasks including mileage reconciliation, scheduling, and fleet documentation.
