Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in engineering (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.) controls engineer related technical field)
  • Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge
  • Skills in troubleshooting, multitasking, documentation/written communication
  • Ability to work independently under supervision of others
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility systems at the Dallas site
  • Learn and apply knowledge related to industrial controls systems, including: PLCs, HMIs, SCADA
  • Working with contractors on control wiring installations and modifications
  • Ensuring work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Assist with commissioning of facility and process-related equipment and systems
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of facility infrastructure and controls systems
  • Provide support for Industrial Wastewater (IWW) systems, including systems involving toxic chemicals
  • Respond to IWW alarms in a timely and effective manner
  • Perform routine filter changes and maintenance activities on IWW systems
  • Support safe operation and compliance of IWW and related environmental systems
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation, records, drawings, and procedures
  • Use AutoCAD to develop and revise facility drawings and system documentation
  • Work independently to manage assigned tasks and priorities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, leadership, vendors, contractors, and internal customers
  • Support preventative maintenance and reliability efforts across facility systems
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment and system issues
  • The ability to work with other business units
