Joining OPmobility means stepping into a global group with a purpose to keep people and goods moving safely, smarter, and sustainably everywhere. This role is responsible for defining and coordinating preventive maintenance for the site, facility, and facility support systems. It also involves performing risk analysis, modifying standard work instructions, and ensuring the correct application of LOTO procedures. The position supports site and regional initiatives relating to Health, Safety, and Environment, and conducts site and facility audits. Additionally, the role involves defining, quoting, submitting requisitions, and coordinating with suppliers for site and facilities work, as well as maintaining Level 5 PM’s and their suppliers for the Mechanical Room/Facilities. The Facilities Engineer is also responsible for defining spare parts needs, ensuring critical spare parts are in SAP and available, and coordinating the removal of spare parts during equipment decommissioning. Site layout ownership and versioning, in coordination with change requests, POMS, and IE, is also a key responsibility. The role acts as an alternate to the Industrial Manager for capacity planning.
