About The Position

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the technical maintenance and operational readiness of Lucid Private Offices’ Class A portfolio in the DFW regions. This role requires a self-motivated technician with a high degree of professional polish and a proactive approach to facility oversight. Your focus will be on suite-level maintenance, ensuring all member spaces meet premium aesthetic and functional standards.

Requirements

  • Experienced in broad-spectrum facility maintenance and interior painting (cutting, rolling, and prep), and drywall repair.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a clean appearance suitable for high-end corporate environments.
  • Proven ability to manage a ticketing system (FreshDesk or similar) and self-prioritize tasks without daily on-site supervision.
  • High comfort level with mobile applications and facility management software for workflow tracking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interface professionally with corporate departments, office clients, and building staff.
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle for travel between the three Atlanta sites.
  • Ability to lift and move office furniture and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and using a variety of power and hand tools.
  • Ability to spend the majority of the day standing, walking, or performing physical labor across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the move-out/move-in process through professional-grade painting, wall patching, and detailing offices to ensure they look brand new for incoming members.
  • Execute a wide range of suite-specific work orders, including electrical (lighting/drivers, outlet repairs, minor wiring), plumbing (sinks, kitchenettes, localized leak repairs), handyman tasks (door adjustments, lock repairs, hanging artwork/signage/TVs/curtains/blinds), and basic appliance repairs for breakroom equipment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues across all three Atlanta sites before they impact the member experience.
