About The Position

Position is responsible for technical and regulatory compliance oversight of gas processing and pipeline activities. This includes ensuring that facilities are designed, constructed and operating in compliance with applicable regulations and codes. This role will also provide engineering support for operations and construction activities and be involved in the design and construction of new pipelines and facilities. The goal of these activities is to ensure the company’s gas gathering and processing operations are in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering required.
  • Excellent soft skills to manage engineering team and work closely with field operators and tradesmen.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to think creatively and help develop recommended solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in natural gas plant and field operations, regulatory compliance, construction and design is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the technical, operational and maintenance processes needed to ensure compliance with federal and state health, safety and environmental requirements. This includes compliance with regulations under Process Safety Management, Risk Management Plans, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, and Oklahoma Corporation Commission regulations.
  • Directs the development of policies, procedures, and specifications to assure gas pipelines and facilities are designed and installed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations emphasizing ease of operation, maximum safety and minimum cost. Creates and approves such policies and procedures.
  • Manages projects involving the design and construction of new pipelines and facilities. This would include the preparation of contracts, specifications, surveys, studies, drawings and bids.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with industry peers, partners, construction personnel and materials and equipment vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
