About The Position

As a Facilities Engineer at JLL, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing building systems to ensure seamless operations for our clients. You will work hands-on with building automation systems, HVAC equipment, and facility infrastructure while utilizing computerized maintenance management systems to track and complete work orders. This position offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working alongside experienced engineers in a client-facing, professional environment. Your contributions will directly impact building performance and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Demonstrated experience with DDC Building Management Systems (BMS) technology
  • Proficiency in using CMMS platforms for work order management and documentation
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to perform electrical diagnostics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in facility maintenance
  • Solid interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HVAC diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair
  • Familiarity with waste management systems and kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Previous experience in a client-facing facilities or building engineering role
  • Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, or related field)
  • Experience working in commercial or corporate facility environments

Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot DDC (Direct Digital Control) Building Management Systems (BMS) to maintain optimal building performance
  • Receive, review, and complete assigned work tasks through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, waste systems, and kitchen equipment
  • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve facility issues
  • Maintain professional client interactions on-site, representing JLL with professionalism and technical competence
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and the Chief Engineer to execute maintenance strategies and special projects
  • Ensure all work complies with workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations
