About The Position
Operate and perform regular preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and accessories. Troubleshoot, test, and make rounds taking regular readings as required on all plant equipment and systems. Keep the Chief Engineer and Lead Engineer up to date on any plant changes. Work with equipment or systems to identify or correct problems. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and AMV plant procedures. Perform on-the-job training when necessary or instructed. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- Valid state driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of experience in Plant Operations or Stationary Engineering
- 2nd Grade Maryland Engineers License
- A/B underground storage tank operator certification must be provided within 90 days.
