Facilities Electrical Engineer

Micron Technology•Manassas, VA

About The Position

Our Facilities Engineering team designs, builds, and sustains the electrical infrastructure that keeps Micron's semiconductor manufacturing sites running safely and reliably. We partner with Facilities and Manufacturing teams through every phase, from design and construction to start-up, operations, and maintenance. As a Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will provide high-quality engineering services for planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of site electrical systems. These include low/medium voltage switchgear and distribution, power quality equipment, UPS systems, and generator systems. You will conduct capacity and scenario planning, evaluate the impact of changes, and ensure environmental, safety, regulatory, and code compliance. You will also help us bring AI and Agentic AI workflows into how we plan, design, and operate! While you may not exhibit all of the characteristics/skills listed below today, we are highly interested in a team member who is anxious to grow in both technical breadth and depth. If you are open to learning from and being a valued member of a team of seasoned engineers, we are eager to help build on your existing foundation and expand your individual and collaborative skills in this exciting and unique opportunity.
