Facilities Custodian
About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Facilities Custodian will ensure that breakrooms, restrooms, office areas, and handwash stations are kept in a "Tour Read – Audit Ready" status through daily cleaning and sanitizing. This role involves collecting and discarding trash, recycling, and bio-hazard materials, operating and cleaning floor scrubbers, and restocking cleaning supplies. The custodian will also work with and provide guidance to the contracted off-shift cleaning crew, complete daily task lists, document work, and access EAM for work orders. Requirements
- Ability to maintain "Tour Read – Audit Ready" status in assigned areas.
- Proficiency in collecting and discarding various types of waste.
- Skill in operating and cleaning floor scrubbers.
- Ability to order and restock cleaning supplies.
- Capability to work with and guide a contracted cleaning crew.
- Proficiency in completing daily task lists and documenting work.
- Experience with EAM systems for work orders.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
- Willingness to perform other job-related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Keep breakrooms, restrooms, office areas, handwash stations “Tour Read – Audit Ready” status by daily cleaning and sanitizing.
- Collect and discard daily items from trash receptacles, recycle receptacles, bio-hazard containers.
- Responsible for operation, cleaning, and storage of the floor scrubber for micro control.
- Orders and restocks cleaning supplies.
- Work with and assist with guidance to the contracted off shift cleaning crew.
- Complete daily task list and document any additional work completed or changes needed.
- Access EAM for work orders and to document work order completion.

- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
- Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested.
