About The Position

Under general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, performs general cleaning functions including bussing dining tables; picking up trash from the floor; emptying trash cans and disposing into the dumpster; maintaining the restrooms; cleaning windows and glass doors; cleaning walls and mopping floors. Periodically shampoos carpet and buffs floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and cleaning agents according to sanitary and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma.
• Six months of full-time related experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment used in cleaning.
• Ability to read, write, and understand directions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to provide services in a courteous and pleasant manner.
• Ability to learn and apply departmental/store policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
