About The Position

As a Facilities & Custodial Specialist at Harper Industries, Inc., you will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments throughout our business offices, manufacturing areas, and Spring Creek meeting facility. This position may be structured as either a part-time or full-time position, depending on the needs of the department and the availability of the selected candidate.

Requirements

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques
Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
Good communication skills to interact with team members and other employees as needed
Embodies organizational core values (authentic, driven, humble, trustworthy)

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Dusting surfaces and cleaning windows to maintain a tidy appearance
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, door handles, and mirrors
Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as breakrooms, lobby, and offices
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
Clean kitchen(s) at Spring Creek, load dishwasher and safely operate it
Ensure Spring Creek is clean and presentable for meetings or guests prior to arrival
Report maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the Office Manager
Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a coordinated cleaning schedule
