About The Position

ECS is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to work in our Fairfax, VA office. ECS is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join the Real Estate & Facilities Department. The Facility Coordinator will be responsible to support the ongoing daily operations of 25+ facilities across CONUS and within the national capital region. Facility Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for operational vendors and contractors. Work will involve project management, planning, support, logistics and execution of service management. Position will be located onsite at our Fairfax HQ.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience on Client-Focused actions and the ability to navigate a wide facility responsibility.
  • Knowledge of basic tools and ability to utilize in daily task.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Projects and Relationships
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and appliance: refrigerators/ice makers, copiers, coffee makers, etc.
  • Able to travel within the continental US.
  • Facilities, construction, and office management experience.
  • Experience working with outside vendors and consultants, to include coordination, scheduling, supervision & inspections.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to walk & stand for extended durations.
  • Ability to lift minimal weight (25 lbs.) and climb ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to create and maintain basic Excel spreadsheets & workbooks.
  • Maintain SharePoint file repositories.
  • Maintain Facility SharePoint database of historical documents; as-built drawings, floor plans, O&M manuals, facility points of contact, etc.
  • Maintain the SharePoint facility ticketing system. Coordinate with outside vendors & internal staff as required to complete and close out requests.
  • Execute internal moves required as part of ongoing operations, to include physical move of furniture & equipment.
  • Service multiple client locations concurrently, meeting deadlines.
  • Maintaining a database of different suppliers and vendors and the materials delivered by them.
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Manage service providers, including but not limited to, preventive maintenance, coffee/water, copiers, janitorial, cable, pest control, etc.
  • Ability to interpret Statements of Work (SOW’s) and direct vendors on execution of scope.
  • Maintain copy machine; change toners, stock paper, make service calls as required.
  • Setup, take-down and reconfigure conference rooms for required utilization.
  • Read & interpret construction documents.
  • Sign in and escort vendors during construction efforts.
  • Includes hands on light maintenance (i.e. hanging white boards, moving furniture, etc.)
