About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities & Safety Director, the Coordinator will organize and lead Facilities Technicians and Safety Team objectives. This position coordinates daily work plans and forecasts maintenance schedules for staff, contractors, and vendors in collaboration with other coordinators. The Facilities & Safety Coordinator will also assist and support the Facilities Director with overall campus safety objectives.
This position is full-time, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with other Facilities Coordinators, oversee ongoing maintenance and repairs for all church assets to include asphalt, carpentry, concrete, fleet, flooring, electrical, drywall, HVAC, landscaping, painting, and plumbing.
• Always represents the church through Ministry (caring for the well-being of congregants, guests, and staff); Mission (representing Jesus to those who don’t know Him); and Stewardship (protecting the assets and property of the church).
• Supports the Director in the safety objectives at Canyon Ridge including the following priorities: Life Safety, Incident Stabilization, and Property Preservation.
• Provides coverage when needed for opening/closing of campus, set-ups and tear downs, custodial, and assist with managing community service workers.
• Identifies gaps and risks in campus safety and security; constructively addresses those with the Facilities & Safety Director.
• Respond to any Fire and/or burglar alarms and be in communication with monitoring systems via phone or computer.
