This role assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the hospital buildings and campus. It involves repairs, maintenance, and general construction tasks such as cabinet work, hanging doors/door repair, drywall finishing, flooring, and painting. This is a first shift position with a schedule of 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

5 plus years carpentry or construction experience
High school diploma/GED required
Excellent follow-up and customer service skills
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
Performs minor repairs to doors, fixtures and furniture.
Makes adjustments and repairs to doors, drywall, flooring and fixtures.
Monitors building security and safety.
Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Provides painting services at all sites.
