This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment within the facility. The technician will troubleshoot electronic controls on various equipment such as gate operators, industrial garage door operators, machine shop tools, and industrial ventilation fans. Responsibilities include replacing electric motors, repairing overhead cranes, hoist, and bridge works, and replacing electrical lighting fixtures. The technician will also install IT wiring cable ends (CAT 5 and CAT 6), reconfigure simple switches, and maintain plumbing fixtures and lift stations. The role involves performing internet research for parts and troubleshooting, initiating purchase orders, and repairing building structures including minor sheetrock and stud wall repair, and replacing door hardware. The position also includes other duties as assigned.
