About The Position

The Live! Facilities Attendant is accountable for preventative maintenance of all Live! Casino facilities, property, and equipment. This role is responsible for general maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino property, including knowledge of HVAC, alarm systems, and generators. Tasks include painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other maintenance-related projects. The position also involves preventative maintenance on all equipment, ensuring the safety and security of guests and team members through proper maintenance and repair. Additionally, the role requires maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts, operating various hand tools, power tools, and machinery, and handling maintenance chemicals. The Facilities Attendant must maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude, possess complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guests, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
• Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of team members and guests at all times.
• Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) plus years’ experience in maintenance in a commercial facility.
• Valid driver’s license may be necessary.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID 19 (booster not required).

Nice To Haves

• Some technical school training and certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino property.
• Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
• Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
• Preventative maintenance as scheduled on all equipment.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members through proper maintenance and repair of the Live! Casino facility.
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts.
• Operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery that relate to the function of a maintenance shop.
• Handle chemicals used in maintenance.
• Utilize ladders, bucket truck, forklift, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
• Other duties as assigned.
