About The Position

Accountable for preventative maintenance of all Live! Casino and Hotel facilities, property, and equipment. Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino property. This includes knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. The role involves painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to the maintenance of the property. Preventative maintenance is scheduled on all equipment. The position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests and team members through proper maintenance and repair of the Live! Casino facility. Responsibilities also include maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts. The attendant will operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to a maintenance shop, and use chemicals in maintenance. Equipment such as ladders, bucket trucks, forklifts, and safety equipment will be utilized. A pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude is expected, along with complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guests. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of team members and guests at all times.
Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) plus years’ experience in maintenance in a commercial facility.
Valid driver’s license may be necessary.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
Sitting, standing, bending, and walking.
Lifting (Overhead, arm’s length, up to 25 lbs., assisted lifting may exceed 200 lbs.)
