About The Position

Orange County's Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) is seeking a Facilities Associate to join their Facilities & Security team. This role will support the daily operations of 11 branch and headquarters locations, ensuring efficient handling of facilities requests, vendor compliance, organized records, and a safe, professional environment for employees and members. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys project coordination, problem-solving, relationship building, and contributing to a proactive facilities operation.

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in facilities support, office administration, workplace operations, or a related coordination role is preferred.
  • Experience working with work order systems, vendor management, records management, or SharePoint is ideal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Vision sufficient to read instructions, procedures, source documents, reports, files, and information on video display terminals.
  • Ability to speak and hear to give and receive instructions and information to others in person and over the telephone.
  • Manual dexterity to write and operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer.
  • Body mobility to move to and from different work areas to access materials to perform the essential functions.
  • Ability to bend and stoop to reach files/shelves including the strength to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, also to pull and push open file cabinet drawers.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; this may include evenings, early morning, and weekends at times.
  • Valid California driver’s license, personal auto insurance, and a clean driving record required; this role regularly travels between OCFCU branch and HQ locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for facilities requests from branches and headquarters.
  • Manage and track work orders from submission through completion.
  • Coordinate vendor documentation, including contracts, licenses, insurance certificates, and renewal tracking.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs, branch inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Compile department KPI data and support monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Coordinate vendor visits and ensure effective communication with branch leaders.
  • Monitor facility supply inventories and submit replenishment requests.
  • Support invoice verification and processing workflows.
  • Participate in branch inspections, facility walkthroughs, and site visits.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient common and storage areas.
