Position Overview: Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm The Facilities Associate's main responsibility is to follow the daily work schedule for the assigned area. It may include cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweep floors, empty/clean wastebaskets and wipe down work areas. This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires regular onsite attendance.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Regular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipment
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment or individually with minimal supervision
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook and perspective
Self-motivation to maintain a clean work environment throughout the facility
Capable of working with varying cleaning liquids, powders, sprays, soaps, etc.
Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success

Public sanitation compliance and/or infectious waste control training

Responsibilities

Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash walls, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms, meeting rooms, windows, doors, and associated equipment and fixtures
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and strip all floor surfaces
Collect trash and cardboard throughout the facility and transport to proper location
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, etc.
Perform additional cleaning services as required
Dispose properly of all public sanitation items in compliance with DigiKey's infectious waste control training
