Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am The Facilities Associate's main responsibility is to follow the daily work schedule for the assigned area. It may include cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping floors, empty/clean wastebaskets, and wiping down work areas. This is considered an essential on-site role, which requires regular on-site attendance.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Regular and consistent attendance due to the need to access physical equipment
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment or individually with minimal supervision
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
Ability to provide a professional and enthusiastic outlook and perspective
Self-motivation to maintain a clean work environment throughout the facility
Capable of working with varying cleaning liquids, powders, sprays, soaps, etc.
Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success

Nice To Haves

Public sanitation compliance and/or infectious waste control training, preferred

Responsibilities

Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash walls, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms, meeting rooms, windows, doors, and associated equipment and fixtures
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and strip all floor surfaces
Collect trash and cardboard throughout the facility and transport to proper location
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, etc.
Perform additional cleaning services as required
Dispose properly of all public sanitation items in compliance with DigiKey's infectious waste control training
