About The Position

BrightBee is hiring cleaners and custodians to support the North Ridgeville School District. In these roles, you will help keep school buildings clean, safe, and running smoothly for students, teachers, and staff. These assignments will primarily support summer needs with strong potential for ongoing work. This is a great side-gig or full-time opportunity that may turn into long-term or permanent opportunities based on performance. North Ridgeville is also expected to need paraprofessionals in the fall, with potential earlier opportunities if needs arise.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to get to schools in your area.
• Dependable, consistent, and show up ready to work.
• Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet.
• Take pride in creating clean, safe spaces for students.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Help keep school buildings clean, safe, and running smoothly.
• Complete daily tasks following a checklist (for Cleaners).
• Responsible for the full building and grounds, including opening/closing, overseeing cleanliness, and maintaining the overall environment (for Custodians).
• Undergo a background check.
• Adhere to a code of conduct.
• Comply with all mandated reporter training and reporting requirements.
• Pass a background check, livescan, and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances.
• Provide authorization to contact former employers.
