About The Position
Honda North, An International Cars, Ltd., Inc. Company, is seeking a Part Time Facilities Assistant. A Facilities Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of a building or facility. The role often includes a mix of manual labor, administrative tasks, and coordination with other departments. ICL is employee owned and proud of our dealerships: Honda North, 1 North Pre-Owned and KIA North in Danvers MA, Dover Honda & Dover Chevrolet in Dover NH, Porsche of Stratham, Audi of Stratham and Honda Stratham in Stratham NH and Portsmouth VW in Greenland, NH.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills with a customer focus and friendly attitude
- Flexible schedule
- Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and facilities to identify repair needs.
- Conduct routine checks of safety systems, such as fire alarms and extinguishers.
- Address potential hazards promptly and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Respond to facility-related emergencies, such as leaks, power outages, or equipment malfunctions
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures
