About The Position

Guardian Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full time facilities assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated and experienced in general maintenance, groundskeeping, and facility upkeep. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, construction, landscaping, equipment maintenance, heavy lifting (up to 75lbs) and seasonal property care. A valid drivers license and ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and professional environment are required.

Responsibilities

Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
Maintain grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal property upkeep.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Inspect, assemble, and ensure small equipment is in proper working order.
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, construction, and repair projects.
Operate company vehicles and provide shuttle transportation as required.
Assist with snow removal during winter months and seasonal spring/summer cleanup.
Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and debris removal.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
