About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Assistant / General Labor team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility. The ideal candidate will perform routine facility inspections, assist with general maintenance tasks, and support the upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work the assigned 2nd shift schedule, with occasional Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in general labor, janitorial, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility.
- Replace light bulbs and perform other basic building maintenance as needed.
- Assist with painting projects, including surface preparation and cleanup.
- Clean and maintain indoor workspaces, common areas, and outdoor grounds.
- Remove trash and debris to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other general labor and facility support duties as assigned.
