About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Facilities and Transportation Manager, the Facilities and Transportation Assistant assists in maintenance and repairs for all of the Agency's buildings, facilities, and agency vehicles; monitors and evaluates the work of the Facilities Assistants and contractors, while assuring compliance with standards and regulations as they relate to transportation, maintenance, and facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move 10-30 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of related clerical/administrative experience, with strong emphasis in record keeping, spreadsheets, tracking and contact with the public preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists in maintenance and repairs for all of the Agency's buildings, facilities, and agency vehicles.
- Monitors and evaluates the work of the Facilities Assistants and contractors.
- Assures compliance with standards and regulations as they relate to transportation, maintenance, and facilities.
