About The Position

Heritage Financial Credit Union is seeking an experienced Facilities and Security Manager to lead initiatives supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless operation of facilities, security programs, and business continuity efforts. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration, management of vendor and property relationships, oversight of security and facilities projects, and advising senior leadership on workplace safety, operational readiness, and organizational resilience. Requirements

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in security and facilities for a financial institution or closely-related organization
  • CRVPM Certification levels I and II within 12 months of employment
  • CRVPM Certification levels III and IV within 24 months of employment
  • Knowledge of NY and PA landlord tenant laws
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing Security Management Programs in the financial services industry
  • Significant and demonstrated experience reading, interpreting, and negotiating contracts (e.g., lease and business contract review)
  • Experience managing facility, security, landlord and tenant relationships
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Experience using P.C. based software including Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to project a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
  • Excellent project management and communication skills including the ability to communicate complex compliance issues to staff

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and partner with Facilities team members, ensuring departmental staff support and execute frictionless interdepartmental experiences and provide necessary support for staff training, resources, and a suitable working environment.
  • Manage credit union owned/operated properties, including facilitating and ensuring effective leases, managing tenant/landlord relationships, executing space planning directives, ensuring facilities are maintained safely and reasonably, and leading design, construction, renovation, and maintenance for all properties.
  • Manage departmental expenses through budgeting, invoices, and appropriate expense management.
  • Provide inter-departmental support for security, facilities, and mail/package delivery services.
  • As the Credit Union’s designated Security Officer: Maintain the Credit Union’s Security Program in accordance with regulatory standards, manage security-related equipment, policies, and procedures, ensure departmental adherence, ensure compliance with the Security Program in response to critical incidents, report critical incidents to staff and executive management, maintain relationships with law enforcement and security-related groups, coordinate image retrieval and site access for law enforcement or governmental entities, collaborate on interdepartmental employee relations matters with confidentiality, and develop/deliver or coordinate security-related training.
  • Administer the Credit Union’s Business Continuity Program (BCP), ensuring compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, periodic maintenance of the BCP, and conducting annual BCP table-top exercises.
  • Ensure departmental Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
  • Develop and present material relative to Facilities and Security to senior-level positions.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for Security and Facilities departments and cross-departmental needs.
  • Maintain assets and proactively prepare for replacements.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
