Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with schematics, electrical work, and electrical equipment repair.
  • Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools for various repair tasks.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal clients or external vendors.
  • Basic knowledge or training in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems (trade school, certification, or hands-on experience)
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using tools such as multi meters and schematics.
  • Conduct painting, and other building interior maintenance tasks to ensure facility integrity and appearance.
  • Repair plumbing systems including leak detection, pipe repairs, and system maintenance.
  • Operate hand tools, electrical equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively.
  • Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations while adhering to safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities; identify potential hazards proactively.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance procedures for recordkeeping purposes.
