This position supervises department personnel in the daily maintenance and repairs of the property, ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of all buildings and grounds. The role is responsible for maintaining areas through preventative maintenance programs, project coordination, prompt issue response, and effective workflow management. The supervisor will coordinate duties, scheduling, capital projects, and safety issues, and will oversee emergency situations such as power outages, alarms, and flooding. This role involves developing policies and guidelines, maintaining emergency procedures and equipment, monitoring equipment and utilities, and evaluating employee performance. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for interviewing, training, selecting, and scheduling employees, as well as handling disciplinary actions, payroll, inventory, and purchasing procedures. The role requires accountability for department walk-throughs, special cleaning projects, and maintaining cleanliness standards, along with responding to employee complaints. The supervisor plans, supervises, and monitors the work of team members, maintains department inventory, and keeps a daily shift log. The position requires adherence to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, participation in mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions, and the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers. A professional appearance, adherence to attendance guidelines, and compliance with all policies and procedures are expected. The role requires the ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
