Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
No minimum work experience required.

Nice To Haves

Relevant work experience in manufacturing preferred.
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs, as per Company policy, as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.
Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

Responsibilities

Help maintain cleanliness of equipment and process bins, totes or carts.
Help maintain cleanliness of facility walls, floors, ceilings, fixtures and exterior of building.
Performs line clearance clean out as assigned.
Trash removal and recycling duties.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM’s) orders as assigned.
Aid with pick-up, delivery and storage of essential materials both on and off site.
Completes necessary steps and paperwork to discard scrapped materials.
Helps train fellow team members on tasks and processes.
Promotes and supports a lean environment within the facility.
Miscellaneous tasks (putting tables together, etc.)
Observe and report equipment problems, housekeeping issues and prescribed safety precautions and hazards to facilities supervisor.
Must comply with all Company work policies and procedures.
Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
