The Boeing Company, specifically Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is seeking a Facilities Analyst to join their dynamic team in Ogden, Utah. This role involves monitoring existing complex contracts to determine compliance, developing contract specifications for supplier goods and services, and interacting with suppliers and buyers. The Facilities Analyst will facilitate team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of organizational needs and requirements, and to continuously improve contractual processes. They will communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers to coordinate scheduled activities. The position may involve researching open jobs and validating the availability of labor and non-labor resources (e.g., tools, parts) and assets (e.g., machinery, building, equipment) to meet customer service requests, facilitate asset acquisition and modification, comply with government requirements (e.g., environment, safety), and support planned maintenance activities. The analyst will lead efforts to review, create, improve, and document processes and procedures related to Production Equipment Maintenance, and participate in meetings with other organizations to create and validate processes. Utilizing project management tools and industry-recognized concepts, they will develop scope of work, budget, and schedules to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget. A key aspect of the role is collecting data from various systems to perform analysis, identify deficiencies, and analyze trend data to find improvement opportunities and develop resolution plans for equipment, systems, processes, and procedures. The analyst will make recommendations and implement improvements, support or independently conduct studies using various media (financial data, internet, reports, benchmarking, new technology) to determine feasibility, viability, or capability for programs, projects, or customer requests. They will prepare and present reports explaining options, impact, and recommendations, and coordinate the processing of complex or unique internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment, and systems. Ensuring configuration control for data, processes, equipment, and documents, delivering process training, supporting training material creation, and coordinating with internal training organizations and outside vendors are also responsibilities. Finally, the role involves performing problem resolution for business operations by investigating, developing alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations, considering objectives and strategies that meet business and infrastructure requirements, conducting studies, and providing input into budget development.
