The Facility Administrator acts as a liaison between other county offices and the County Judge. The Facility Administrator assists with county policy making and implementing county policies, projects, and other actions, all county employees are either directly or indirectly influenced by the Facility Administrator’s functional authority. The projects and actions undertaken by the County Judge's office and the Quorum Court represent many millions of county tax dollars. The Facility Administrator is responsible for putting into practice the goals and objectives of the County Judge. The Facility Administrator monitors the progress and ensures that results are achieved by the balancing of resources, personnel and budgets for the improvement of the health, safety, welfare and the economic growth of Benton County. The job of Facility Administrator was established for the purpose/s of planning, organizing and directing the maintenance, repair and alteration of County buildings and grounds; serving as the County representative in planning and developing facilities and new construction; ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines; preparing and managing the annual budgets for the maintenance, grounds and custodial departments; and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.
