About The Position

This position is funded annually through Title I federal funds and is contingent upon the availability of such funds. All responsibilities must align with federal requirements by providing supplemental services aligned to student academic achievement and whole child supports, in accordance with Title I guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, required; Georgia Educator Certification, required.
  • Minimum of three years of successful experience in education.
  • Ability to work well with teachers, school administrative teams, and district office leadership.
  • Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
  • Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
  • Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
  • Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
  • Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in school leadership, instructional coaching, or school improvement preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal programs, specifically Title I, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Assistant Superintendent of School Improvement and district leaders to conduct needs assessments, analyze multiple data sources, and determine targeted school improvement priorities to increase student achievement.
  • Support principals and school leadership teams in the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Comprehensive School Improvement Plans (CSIPs) and Title I Federal budgets, ensuring alignment to district priorities and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Provide differentiated, job-embedded support to Title I and federally identified schools (CSI, ATS!, TSI) aligned to the district's Aligned Support Framework and tiered system of support.
  • Conduct instructional walkthroughs using district tools and protocols; provide timely, actionable feedback to school leaders to strengthen instructional practices and student outcomes.
  • Facilitate and support collaborative planning structures (e.g., PLCs) and professional learning experiences that build teacher and leader capacity in standards-based instruction, data use, and formative assessment practices.
  • Monitor implementation fidelity and impact of school improvement strategies through ongoing data analysis, progress monitoring, and feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to coordinate and align supports that address both academic achievement and whole child needs, as allowable under Title I.
  • Serve as a liaison between schools and district departments to ensure coherence of support, alignment of resources, and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of support provided, including walkthrough data, progress monitoring artifacts, and district support logs, ensuring compliance with Title I requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication and outreach to stakeholders, including school leaders and district staff, and support preparation for monitoring, audits, and program reviews related to school improvement and federal programs.
