As an Architectural Designer in our Façades Practice, you will evaluate facade systems, support design development, and contribute to technical documentation for building envelope projects. With support from your team, you’ll contribute to projects in a collaborative environment that encourages technical growth, design excellence, and creative problem-solving. This is a full-time position starting Summer 2027.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with facade systems, building envelopes, and enclosure design principles.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, or other design/modeling tools.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to apply architectural fundamentals thoughtfully and check your work carefully.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations of facade systems, materials, and enclosure performance.
  • Prepare clear, detailed drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation for project teams and clients.
  • Research materials, finishes, and system options to support design decisions and architectural intent.
  • Review codes, standards, and architectural specifications to inform project requirements.
  • Participate in site visits, field observations, mock-up reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal engineering teams to develop coordinated, buildable solutions.
