About The Position

SpecSys is a full-service provider that offers project management, engineering, and manufacturing for fast-track projects, systems, and products with a main focus on large mobile equipment. The Fabricator has the primary responsibility of measuring and marking drill spots, performing regular maintenance checks and maintaining documents. This is a challenging role within an established, growing company with over 25 years in business, offering a variety of work that plays to employee strengths.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to stand for 8 hours plus per day
• Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance

Responsibilities

• Measuring and marking drill spots
• Performing regular maintenance checks
• Maintaining documents
• Read a blueprint
• Read a tape measure
• Operate a drill press
• Operate a frame drill
• Operate a hand drill
• Operate a band saw
• Operate a 5" grinder
• Operate a plate roll
• Decimal conversion
• Learn how to use an overhead crane
