About The Position

We are seeking skilled Project Fabricators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction trades, structural welding, and steel fabrication. This position involves the fabrication of components for both standard and custom products using steel and various other materials. Candidates must be team-oriented and bring a positive attitude to the job site. We offer year-round indoor and outdoor work in a creative fabrication setting, with opportunities for travel and advancement.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction trades
Minimum 2 years of steel fabrication experience
Structural welding certification required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Basic computer skills
Forklift license or must be able to pass forklift test to be certified by PlayCore
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to read a tape measure

Nice To Haves

Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Fabricate components for standard and custom products using steel and other materials
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ensure all decks are checked and identified properly
Maintain utilization specified by supervisor and/or lead
Communicate with other operators on any issues or shortages to supervisor or lead
Work closely with others as a team player
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
