About The Position

Preparing components for reel assembly through processes such as stamping, riveting, and sanding. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow job specifications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions or manuals.
  • Ability to speak audibly, and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.
  • Safety-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut-rated gloves and sleeves; additional PPE may be required depending on the task.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent desired.
  • 3-6 months of fabrication work experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform part preparation tasks including stamping, riveting, and sanding using hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Interpret and follow instructions outlined in job packets.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Operate a variety of hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Push and pull crates weighing up to 1,000 pounds using a manual pallet jack during the workday.
  • Prioritize work orders based on production schedules and deadlines.
  • Read and accurately interpret gauges and measurement tools.
  • Must be open to cross training in all department on plant floor.
