About The Position

This role involves fabricating and fitting insulation for various products. The second shift position requires reviewing travelers, prints, and insulation Bill of Materials (BOM), verifying material availability and condition, and confirming vacuum integrity before starting insulation. The fabricator will cut, fit, and install insulation on shells, heads, and piping, applying adhesives, bands, or jacketing as specified. A critical part of the job is completing check sheets for vacuum readings pre/post insulation for leak detection traceability.

Requirements

• 2–3 years in fabrication and fitting insulation with high mix product environments
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday (8–10 hours)
• Regular lifting of materials up to 35 lbs (sometimes up to 50 lbs)
• Strict adherence to EHS protocols, including respirator fit tests and PPE usage (gloves, sleeves, scissors, knives, etc)

Responsibilities
