About The Position
Deltech Industries has immediate openings for an experienced Fabricator looking for long term, full-time employment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of welding/fabrication experience
- Ability to lift 45 pounds on a frequent basis without assistance
Nice To Haves
- Welding certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Manual lay operations
- Steel Fabrication
- Blueprint Reading and Weld Symbols (AWS and ISO)
- Weld joint prep
- Welding: Welding Machine Set-up
- Mig/Tig welding and hard facing of carbon, stainless and low alloy steels using solid and flux-cored wire
- Finishing of welds (chipping, grinding, sanding)
- Material Handling: Forklift and Overhead Crane use
- Math and Measurement Skills: Tape measure, Scale, Calipers, Fillet weld gauge
- Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and Decision making
