About The Position

At Awning & Sign Contractors, we don't build the ordinary. We design and fabricate custom aluminum awnings, canopies, and architectural features that become part of the businesses and communities we serve. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience welding aluminum or similar metals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper equipment operation.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Certified Welder or certification from a recognized welding program.
• Manufacturing or industrial fabrication experience.
• Basic computer skills to access digital drawings and log production activities.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling custom aluminum awnings and canopies.
• Turning raw materials into finished products that meet high standards for quality, precision, and safety.
• Welding aluminum components using proven welding techniques.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Operating welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
