Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in reading a tape measure.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor to positively represent the company.

  • Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
  • Ability to pass and maintain proper respiratory device fitment to protect against hazardous chemicals and toxins. When using a respirator, you must take the necessary steps to ensure proper fitment and use to ensure your protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in countertop fabrication is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products for administrative tasks.
  • Background in residential and commercial construction & remodels is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate natural and artificial stone countertops and backsplashes to the highest standards.
  • Skillfully fabricate sink cutouts.
  • Assist the shop foreman and team members in the fabrication area, actively communicating and addressing discrepancies and special conditions.
  • Understand and interpret labels relating to the material being fabricated.
  • Review programming and/or template paperwork in detail, seeking clarification when needed.
  • Proactively communicate concerns that may impact job completion.
  • Become knowledgeable of job-specific tools used in fabrication, operating them correctly and safely.
  • Maintain tools and work environment safely and cleanly, minimizing disturbance to other areas.
  • Prioritize safety and quality throughout the fabrication process.
  • Arrive at work on time every day.
  • Communicate openly and clearly with team members and management.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Be adaptable, able to modify planned daily schedules for unplanned urgencies.
  • Effectively set and achieve goals, demonstrating a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
