About The Position

Fabrication of aluminum window extrusions and preparation of aluminum doors for hardware.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
• Good communication skills
• Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
• Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Handles aluminum doors and frames weighing from 60 to 150 pounds
• Performs fabrication on these products including: Cutting stock length material to size, Preparing cut extrusions for assembly, Preparing blank aluminum doors for hardware, Installation of commercial hardware on doors and frames, Using power and hand tools
• Reads Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed
• Other relative duties as assigned
