About The Position
Wardcraft is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team. If you take pride in clean welds, precise fabrication, and being part of a hands-on manufacturing crew, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- 2–4 years of welding/fabrication experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong tape measure and blueprint reading skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment with exposure to fumes, noise, and temperature extremes
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Aluminum welding and heavy equipment manufacturing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on components per engineering drawings, layouts, work orders, or verbal instruction
- Set up and lay out work using jigs, fixtures, or hand layouts to fabricate parts and rework finished products
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate and weld multi-component parts
- Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, and cutting torches
- Inspect and correct welds to meet product specifications
- Handle and cut materials to job order specifications
