About The Position

Examinetics is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder for a full-time role at its fleet facility in New Century, Kansas. The position builds mobile testing units from the top to bottom and modifies, renovates, and maintains existing testing units. Work involves fabrication and carpentry along with welding, construction, electrical, painting, mechanical, and finish work. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards, and may include helping staff diagnose equipment or vehicle malfunctions and directing appropriate follow-up actions. Candidates must complete a background and drug screen and a post-offer employment test before their first day. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, and/or certification.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Completion of a post-offer employment test (POET) before the first day of work.
Experience in carpentry and fabrication is identified as ideal.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, carpentry, construction, electrical, painting, mechanical, and finish work.
Build mobile testing units using 13-foot Sprinter vans.
Modify, renovate, and maintain existing testing units, including 26-foot box trucks.
Assist staff in diagnosing equipment and vehicle malfunctions and direct appropriate follow-up actions.
