About The Position

Job Title: Truck Fabricator Technician Reports to: Fabricator Team Leader / Director of Operations Department: Operations Job Summary: Responsible for custom fabrication of customer’s trucks.

Requirements

• General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process
• General understanding of truck components
• Experience with Welding/Fabrication
• Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
• Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
• Working knowledge of company software and procedures
• Great attitude and ability to work with others
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current regular driver’s license to move our vehicles
• Forklift operator certification
• Overhead crane operator certification
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must have a current drivers license to move our vehicles.
• Must be able to work the hours required - 10 hour shift Monday through Friday, and a 4 hour shift two Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Support all daily functions of the shop
• Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis
• Utilize tools such as: Welders Torches Plasma cutters Shears Punch presses Drill press Metal cutting saws
• Fabricate parts as needed
• Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques
• Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
