About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fabricator to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. This role will fabricate and assemble plastic products using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Shift available: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements

  • A two-year Technical or Trade school diploma or certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Possess a strong knowledge of plastics fabrication, along with general tool knowledge
  • Be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Have the ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work unsupervised, make decisions independently, and solve problems effectively and creatively
  • Display a high level of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries and needs of the organization
  • Understand and maintain the confidential nature of customer and company information
  • Show professional knowledge, proficiency and initiative in achieving goals and meeting company standards
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills including, demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ minimum related experience in fabrication field
  • An understanding of plastics
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Use various fabrication techniques to assemble products
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
  • Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
  • Trim, drill, countersink, grind, and finish parts to specifications, using templates, hand tools, and power tools
